Shahid Afridi Open Resturant

This week's edition of Sporting Heroes is a must-see as we profile legendary rugby player Martin Johnson.
With the British & Irish Lions in the early stages of their tour of Australia, the timing of a programme on the career of Johnson is timely, given he is the only man to have captained the side on two separate tours.
His first as skipper, the 1997 trip to South Africa, ended in a glorious 2-1 Test victory over the Springboks - Johnson's leadership immortalised in the famous documentary of the tour 'Living with Lions.'
A Leicester lock since 1989, when he began a Tigers career that spanned 17 years and over 350 games, Johnson made his England debut four years later in January of 1993 at the age of just 22.
A famous international career was born - culminating in the legendary image of Johnson hoisting the World Cup above his head in 2003 after a dramatic 20-17 extra-time final victory over Australia in Sydney.
When he finally called time on his playing career in 2006, he had also added five Premiership titles and two Heineken Cups to his trophy cabinet, and was quickly into top-level coaching when appointed England boss in 2008.
Although he drew criticism for his spell in charge of the Red Rose and resigned in November 2011, Johnson remains a legend of the sport.
He'll be discussing his career on the field for Leicester, England and the Lions on this week's show.

Tony Bellew talks huge win over Isaac Chilemba and WBC title shot

Tony Bellew told Ringside that his victory over Isaac Chilemba saved him from a possible career meltdown.

The Liverpool pugilist drew with Chilemba in late March but bounced back in fine style to beat the 26-year-old on points at the 02 Arena on May 25 on the Carl Froch-Mikkel Kessler undercard.
Bellew revealed that he would have struggled to step back between the ropes had he lost to the Malawian, but explained that he was delighted by the manner of his win in London, which made him a mandatory challenger for the WBC light-heavyweight title.
"Everything was on the line [against Chilemba] and I would go as far as to say that if it didn't go well that night, I don't know if I could have got back in the ring," said Bellew, whose only career defeat came in 2011 at the hands of fellow Brit Nathan Cleverly.
"I bullied Chilemba and proved that I am a better fighter than him."
Tony Bellew
"Going through a camp for 12 weeks, having three days off and then going through another 10-week camp emotionally and physically breaks you, while I also read and listened to everything the doubters had said.
"But I kept my head down until the fight and it felt like mission complete when I'd won - and I was really happy with the way I did the job second time around to get rid of Chilemba.
"I made him angrier than before, bullied him, roughed him up and dealt with him in every minute of every round - and proved that I am a better fighter than him."
Groove
Dawson was conquered by Andre Ward last September when he dropped down to super-middleweight, but Bellew expects the American to fire again now that he has returned to his preferred division.

The Merseysider is tipping Dawson to retain his belt in Montreal - but says he would have no qualms facing either fighter and would even head into Stevenson's territory in pursuit of his maiden world title.
On Dawson, who defeated the veteran Bernard Hopkins to earn his gold, Bellew said: "He didn't impose his will at any point against Ward, but it is rare you see Dawson floored so heavily so early on in a fight.
"He wasn't right at 168 pounds, and certainly didn't look like the fighter that I know he is, and the million dollar question is whether that will affect him - but I think that when he is at 175 pounds and gets into his groove Stevenson will be in trouble.
"Stevenson brings power, though; he is heavy handed in both hands, is wild and doesn't have any regard for defence - but if I could pick one of them to fight it would be him as it would be a war in the middle of the ring.

"I have hundreds and thousands of Scousers that want it [at home] but I would go to Stevenson's backyard - and I mean his backyard."

Ian Wright says only new signings will make Arsenal successful

Ian Wright believes Arsenal's chances of success this season depend entirely on who they bring in.
Arsene Wenger has this week released three of his squad, Andrey Arshavin, Denilson and Sebastian Squillaci, whose contracts run out at the end of the month.
Wright was pleased to see some space freed up and is already looking forward to seeing just who Arsenal sign this summer.
And he insists the Gunners can only win some silverware for the first time in eight years if Wenger's shopping spree strengthens his side immediately.
"[Any new player] needs to be the calibre of player that's going to want to come to Arsenal and take them to the next level," Wright told Sky Sports News HD.
"I think we've got the money but who wants to come here when we haven't won anything for eight years?"
Wright, though, admits it is going to be difficult to lure players to The Emirates, given the power of their Premier League rivals.
"I think we've got the money but who wants to come here when we haven't won anything for eight years?"
Ian Wright
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea will all have new managers next season and are known as far bigger spenders than the fourth English Champions League team.
And that, Wright says, makes Wenger's summer shopping even harder.
"It is going to be really tough for them, but all you can do is keep supporting," he said.
"You've got to keep hoping and keep four fingers crossed that they are going to do something and players will come in there and perform."

The latest player under our scout's gaze is Colombia's Jherson Vergara.

The scout reports...

We start our summer of talent spotting at the prestigious Toulon tournament - an Under-21 competition for invited national sides.
As South American champions, Colombia were always looking likely to be one of the most interesting teams and indeed that is the case.
We check on the player we think is their star performer, defensive stalwart Jherson Vergara.
Vergara is a real beast of a centre-half, built like a typical English defender - he looks to have everything at his disposal.
Vergara has only just turned 19, but he already seems to have his future mapped out having recently been snapped up by AC Milan.
He started his career with Universitario Popayan and aged 16 in 2011 he was handed his first professional contract.
However, Vergara was already becoming known in his homeland after starring for the Under-17 national side and he was snapped up later in 2011 by Deportes Quindio.
But he soon found himself loaned back to Popayan, and it is with his former club where he has matured into the outstanding prospect he is now.
He really rose to prominence earlier this year - again on the international stage as he helped Colombia capture the famed South American Youth Championship, and it was whilst in Argentina that he attracted the attention of a host of clubs.
But it was Milan who were first to act and stepped in to seal his much coveted signature.
And from his appearances in Toulon it is clear to see why Milan made the move.
Two footed, comfortable in possession and he loves a challenge, as they say. Vergara is an athlete, quick and hard to get around, but he is also a very good footballer.
Confident with both feet, he can also pick a pass - but his biggest asset is in the air. 6f 2inanyway, he has a great spring and provides a stern test to any striker.

The scout says...

Looks a massive talent, one of the best young players - let alone defenders - in South America and has a huge future ahead of him.
He has chosen to begin his European journey early - but few clubs are better at nurturing talent than Milan and he looks in very good hands.

US Open: Tiger Woods to play with Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott

Tiger Woods will go head to head with Rory McIlroy for the first time in a major championshipat next week's US Open.

Woods and McIlroy have been grouped with Masters champion Adam Scott as the world's top three players were put together for the opening two rounds at Merion.
The decision means Woods and Sergio Garcia will be kept apart for the first two days at least following their highly-publicised series of spats last month.
Garcia offered an unreserved apology to the world No 1 for "stupid and out of place" comments at the European Tour's annual awards ceremony at Wentworth ahead of the BMW PGA Championship.
Asked if he would invite Woods to dinner at Merion to settle their bust-up at Sawgrass, Garcia replied "We will have him round every night. We will serve fried chicken."
Garcia said he had been asked to wait until Merion to apologise in person to Woods, who said last week: "It's already done with. It's time to move on."
Garcia will tee off along with former Open champions Padraig Harrington and Stewart Cink at 7:44am local time from the 11th hole in the first round, with Woods, McIlroy and Scott starting at 1:14pm from the first.
Ryder Cup team-mates Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer start at 12:52pm from the first with 2010 champion Graeme McDowell in the following group with 2003 winner Jim Furyk and Zach Johnson.
Defending champion Webb Simpson gets under way at 1:36pm alongside Open champion Ernie Els and 2012 US Amateur champion Steven Fox.
The full field will be completed on Sunday evening after the conclusion of
the Lyoness Open in Austria and FedEx St Jude Classic in Memphis, with the world top 60 securing their places at Merion.

Transfer news: Jose Reina understands Luis Suarez's quit plea at Liverpool

Jose Reina would like to see Luis Suarez remain at Liverpool, but understands why he is looking to leave Anfield.
Suarez has expressed a desire to move on this summer after growing disillusioned with life in England.
He feels he has been unfairly singled out for criticism and believes a fresh start is required in order to breathe new life into his career.
Liverpool have informed the Uruguay international that they have no intention of sanctioning a sale, with Suarez a key performer in Brendan Rodgers' plans, but they could see their resolve tested once the transfer window re-opens.
"Hopefully, as I say, he will stay at Liverpool for many years. But I would understand, if the right offer comes for him and for the club, for him to go."
Jose Reina
Reds keeper Reina hopes Suarez can be persuaded to stay on Merseyside, but sympathises with his club colleague and appreciates why he feels the need to make a move.
He said: "I would like for Luis to stay at Liverpool, but I understand if he is thinking about leaving for a bigger club.
"When I say 'bigger', I don't mean as a club. I mean challenging for titles, playing in the Champions League and competing with the best.
"Because of his situation, and because of his treatment by the media, it would have been difficult for any player, not just for Luis, to stay strong and be happy to stay.
"Hopefully, as I say, he will stay at Liverpool for many years. But I would understand, if the right offer comes for him and for the club, for him to go."
